Obituary for David Bailey

David A. Bailey, age 71, of Janesville died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 27, 1945 in Lake Odessa, MI, the son of the late Thomas P. and Armilda M. (Sparks) Bailey. David graduated from Milton High School and served in the US Marine Corps from 1965 until he was Honorably discharged in 1967. After returning from service, he later married Donna R. Heise in Janesville on December 18, 1971. David worked at GMAD retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service.
David is survived by his wife: Donna; two children: Karl Bailey and Matthew (Sandra) Bailey all of Janesville; and four grandsons: Dusten (Elizabeth) Bailey, Gavin Bailey, David Bailey, and Liam Bailey. He is further survived by his siblings and their spouses: Pollie (Jerry) McCarthy of Janesville, Lewis (Janice) Bailey of Gleason, WI, Ruth McCarthy of Janesville, George (Alice) Bailey of Janesville, Gary (Marilyn) Bailey of Janesville, Jerry (Cheri) Bailey of Janesville, Dennis (Veronica) Bailey of Janesville, and Donna (Roger) Cather of Beloit; sister and brother-in-law: Patricia Bailey of Janesville and Gary Olson of Edgerton; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
