Lewis Quale
Janesville, WI -- Lewis Quale, age 67, passed away on Thursday, Feb 22, 2018, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center. He was born in Edgerton, WI., on April 30, 1950, the third child of the late Raymond and Mary (Crouse) Kuhn Quale. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps with the 1st Battalion during the Vietnam War. Lou met the love of his life, Gina Summerbell, in 2006, and cherished every moment with their family. He retired from his job as a concrete finisher at J.P. Cullen after many years and was currently serving as Vice President of Falling Creek Condo Association. Lou enjoyed wildlife photography and spending time in nature with his dog, Ginger. He also loved working on old cars, especially his 1933 Plymouth. He took great pride in caring for his family and friends in any way he could.
He is survived by his lifelong partner, Gina Summerbell; two daughters, Nicole May and Heather Quale; three siblings: Wanda Quick, Raymond (Diane) Quale, Sharon (Rick) Terwilliger; two grandchildren, Hadlei and Harper Quale; and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, from 4 until 6 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES. A celebration of Lou’s life will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be private for immediate family and will occur on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
