Obituary for Jacqueline Ann "Jacque" McKeown (Finnegan)

Jacqueline Ann "Jacque" McKeown (Finnegan)
Jacqueline A. “Jacque” McKeown, age 81, of Janesville died on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Mercyhealth Hospital & Trauma Center. She was born in Janesville on March 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Henry and Edna (Knopes) Finnegan. Jacque attended St. Mary’s Catholic Grade School and graduated from Janesville High School in 1954. She married the love of her life, Vincent T. “Tom” McKeown on August 27, 1955 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and they had over 52 wonderful years together, before he predeceased her on September 19, 2007.
Jacque was the best mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother “GG”, ever! She loved her family and her happiest times were spending time with them. She was also a very avid men’s basketball fan, always cheering on the Wisconsin Badger basketball team.
She is survived by her four beautiful daughters, who she was very proud of: Sandy (Bill) Perry of Janesville, Susan (Tiff Smith) McKeown of Kenosha, WI, Deanna (Leonard) Duckworth of Janesville, and Sheryl (Kyle) Rote of Janesville; six grandchildren: Jennifer (David) Malterer, Michael (Zach) Perry, Thomas (Jordan Johnson) Perry, Brian Perry, Emily (Jake) Kukuk-Borzym, and Katie Kukuk; and two very special great-grandchildren: Carter and Paige Malterer. She is further survived by her brother: James (DB) Finnegan of San Francisco, CA, and their twin daughters: Oona and Dallas; her sisters-in-law: Maryann Burki, Charlotte Butters, Arlene DeGarmo and Charlene Welch; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her infant brother, Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Rob Butz officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
