Obituary for Kay Ann Snyder (Parsons)

Kay Ann Snyder (Parsons)
Kay Ann Snyder, age 73, of Janesville died on Friday, November 17, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jefferson County, WI. She was born in Wausau, WI on October 24, 1944, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Valeria (Hanke) Parsons. Kay graduated from Newman Catholic High School in Wausau in 1962. In 1966, she married Gary Pergolski and together they had three children. She later married Claude E. Snyder on March 6, 2004 and he predeceased her on June 19, 2015. After moving to Janesville in 1968, Kay has been a very active member of the Janesville community and Faith Community Church since its beginning in 1990, where she has been involved with numerous Bible study groups and other church activities. Kay worked for Gilman Engineering and Manufacturing for over 29 years, retiring in 2005. She was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District 10.
Family and her faith in God, has guided Kay over the years. She was always willing to see the great things in everyone she met. She never looked down on anyone, while continuing to be a very gracious and generous woman. Kay was involved with the YMCA, where she participated in the aqua aerobics group, active with numerous cancer support groups, silver sneakers group, and climbing the hill outing group, which was a group that went out for dinner on Friday nights. Kay was a very happy, loving, and strong lady, whose laugh, hugs, and smile will be missed by her family and those who knew her.
She is survived by her children: Amber (Bradley) Pellegrino of North Prairie, WI, David (Jessica) Pergolski of Ashland, WI, and Daniel (Melissa) Pergolski of Janesville; grandchildren who she adored: Orion, Lily, Ella, and Ava. She is further survived by her brothers: Wayne (Jeanne) Parsons of Kansas and Daniel (Jean) Parsons of Connecticut; step-children, step-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents and husband, Claude.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Faith Community Church, 2931 Lucerne Dr., Janesville with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A dinner and time of fellowship will follow the service. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva, WI. Memorials would be greatly appreciated if they were made to Faith Community Church.
