Condolence From: Scott and Jana Kemper
Condolence: So sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful, joyful mother. What great memories for you to all keep and share. We unfortunately can not make the trip to be with you, but may our thoughts and prayers bring you a small amount of comfort. We are sending a contribution to Cedar Crest in her memory. We also wanted to send flowers. We saw the bouquet “cherished memories “ online and are sending them your way.
What a celebration in heaven they must be having, to have their Gertie home!
With sympathy and much love, Scott and Jana Kemper

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I have many happy memories of her friendship with my parents. Everything from their chaperoning "Swing Lobby" at the YWCA together, to their last visit to my parents home in Wausau. I remember them visiting my parents in Janesville. There were always martinis. It was easy to talk Ed into playing the piano, while sometimes accompanied by Gert, whistling. Your parents were always so obviously in love. There is no doubt that they are together now. I mostly remember your mom taking an interest in everyone around her. She truly wished everyone well. I remember her smile and her laugh. In fact, I don't think I ever saw her when she wasn't smiling. She had a kind and gentle spirit. I know it's hard to imagine now, in your grief, but as time goes by, your memories of her will always warm you and remind you that she is nearby.

Condolence From: John & Shelli Fiorenza
Condolence: Barb, Bob, and Rich,

Our heartfelt sympathies on the loss of your mom. Growing up across the street from your folks included some of our favorite memories of mom giving Gert perms, Ed and I walking around the neighborhood and of course gathering on the front porch of 1322 E Milwaukee when it rained to swing on the front porch swing and eat Marge's(mom's) homemade caramel corn and talk. I just saw Gert on 11/7 to bring her one of mom's bday cupcakes as mom just celebrated her 80th,and I am so glad they got to be neighbors again for awhile at Cedar Crest. Hugs, as you go forward knowing you had 2 of the best parents in the world!! Shelli Dade Fiorenza, Teresa Dade Martin, and Angela Dade Sandberg.

Condolence: To family and friends. I am so very sorry for the passing of Gertrude Airis, it is always hard to lose someone special. It may be comforting to know that our God Jehovah is also saddened by death and even Jesus gave way to tears at John 11:33,35. Another comforting thought is to know the future of such ones. Isaiah 26:19 tells us about the promise our God has made to us to resurrect our loved ones from death. I hope this has brought you even the slightest comfort, please know that Jehovah the God of all comfort will always be there comforting you through trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).
