Condolence From: Gary Meador
Condolence: Harris was a dear great uncle. I always thought a lot of him and he was one of the sweetest men I had the privilege of knowing. In the immortal words of General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson "Let us cross over the river and rest beneath the shade of the trees."

Condolence:

Dear Sandy,

Dear Sandy, Freddie and Judy,
I was so saddened when I heard of the passing of my dear friend, Harris. He was so kind and helpful to us when we first moved to Janesville. Over the years, we would have such good conversations when I would run into him at the grocery store, or wherever. I always held him in high regard. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I’ve known Harris for the majority of my life, but somewhat, from a distance. My wife Jean had known him much longer. I recall shooting hoops with him and Fred, a generation ago and having an appreciation for the basketball skills of this “old man” in his ‘50’s. Though unfortunately the opportunities grew rather rare in recent years, Harris always welcomed conversation and his demeanor was always friendly. We considered him a gentleman on each occasion. We well miss those times, and can only offer our condolences to his family and those that knew him best.

Condolence: Through our connection with Farm Credit, Harris and Sandy became friends of ours for more than 40 years. We always looked forward to the opportunity to visit at the many meetings we attended during our years of employment. Harris could always be counted on to provided solid information to any discussions. In the later years we had become email buddies, which I will always cherish. God Bless the families and the wonderful memories of our departed friend Harris! Adin & Marlene Kleven, Mesa, AZ

Condolence: Mr. Thacher was a man I looked up to as a child. And he became, Harris, my friend. He was a hard worker, always willing to give his labors or knowledge at church. And he was so encouraging to me throughout my life at Sun Valley. Our deepest sympathy to the family.
