Thank you for placing an obituary in the DFJ so I could extend my condolences to the family of Marvel Hedum. I worked with Marv at Van Diest Medical Center, she also was a member of the same church as my mother. Loved her spirit and kind heart, she always took great care of those who entered the cafeteria and I enjoyed her sense of humor. I always called her "Marvelous" because she just was!!! We missed her when she moved out of state but I still think of her often with fond memories of her time at Van Diest.
With deepest sympathy,
Sue Walters

I adored Marvel. She reminded me so much of my own mother who had passed away years ago. Loved her feisty spirit. She will be missed here at dialysis! Rest in Peace Miss Marvelous!
