Kenneth E. Dean, age 75, of Janesville died on Friday, September 27, 2019 at his home. He was born in Eagle River, WI on February 7, 1944. Kenneth was one, of twenty-one children, born to George and Ester (Kishaway) Dean. Kenneth honorably served in the US Army, serving in Germany. After he returned from the service, he married Gloria Marsden on September 30, 1967, who he met roller skating in Ft. Atkinson.

Kenneth was proud of his heritage as a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians of Manistee, MI. Kenneth worked in the foundry business for many years, retiring from Waterford Aluminum due to his declining health. Ken was a very bright and inventive person, who was very cleaver and mechanically inclined. Even though he appeared to be a strict father, he taught his children many valuable life lessons.
He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years: Gloria; and three children: Kenneth (Beckie) Dean, Timothy Dean, and Eric (Hiedie) Dean, all of Janesville; grandchildren: Kyle Dean, Brittney (Alex Morgan) Dean, Brandy (Mike) Duhr, Zack Keating, and Kyria Snyder; and great grandchildren: Lillyona, Gerald, Kaidenn, Avah, Kynzlee, Aiden, and Gabriel.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Whitcomb – Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Military Rites will be provided by VFW Kienow – Hilt Post 1621. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
