Kathy was a wonderfully competent and caring Head Nurse at Rock Haven. Her approach was a very effective combination of kind firmness and subtle humor. The pleasure that she derived from animals explains why it was Kathy who understood the pleasure and companionship they could offer residents and paved the way for residents to share an live-in cat, various birds, and even a dog. Her Rock Haven-2 residents got her best and she saw to it that they got the staff's best, all the while making clear that she valued them. Rest in peace, Kathy! The memories I have of you are some of my best!
My sincere sympathy to her family. I hope wonderful memories brighten the days and years ahead!

I always enjoyed volunteering with her and hearing her stories. She will be greatly missed.

Sorry to the family for your loss. Kathy was a wonderful head nurse at Rock County where I worked with her for many years. I worked in Housekeeping and the Linen room. Sincerely ,Billie Zielke
