Ramona J. Whittier, age 81, of Janesville, died Monday, February 24, 2020, at her home. She was born in Janesville on Aug. 12, 1938, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Schultz) Huschka. Ramona married John G. Whittier on Aug. 17, 1956. He preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 2006. Ramona was employed by Accudyne and later as a supervisor for CVS before retiring. She enjoyed birdwatching, gardening and flowers, genealogy and bowled in leagues for many years. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 children: Deb (Richard) Adamczyk of Janesville, David Whittier of Clinton, and John (Roberta) Whittier of Evansville; 9 grandchildren: Kelly (David) Javan, Katie (Erik) Haakenson, Alexander Adamczyk, John (Kaitlyn) Whittier, Rachael Whittier, Danielle (Uriel) Duran, Kendra Whittier, Sam Whittier, and Isaac Whittier; 9 great-grandchildren: Alan, Rylee, Kassidy, Molly, Zane, Micah, Gabriela, Ezra, and Elias; a brother, William (Carol) Huschka; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Jodie Whittier; and 4 siblings: Kenneth Huschka, Don Huschka, Shirley Helmeid, and Norma Phillips.
There will be no formal services. Memorials if desired, may be made in Ramona's name to Mercyhealth at Home/ Hospice.
