Knowledge is like a butterfly
Fascinating, enriching, elusive.
Seek it, pursue it, make it your own.
Sh! It flies away quickly.
Concentrate. Try again and again.
Your goal is all around you –
Free and enticing, richly colored,
Lighting near you –
Then floating soundlessly away – just out of reach.
Capture it with quick mind.
Imprison it with strong memory.
Then -- set it free.
Give it to others.
Like love, kindness and butterflies,
Knowledge is best when
You enjoy it, share it,
Let it benefit the world.
