JANESVILLE, WI—Gerald C. “Jerry” Larsen, age 75, of Janesville, formerly of Grand Forks, ND, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at his home. He was born in Grand Forks, ND, on Aug. 5, 1944, the son of the late Charles and Agnes (Johnson) Larsen. Jerry married Eunice L. Kiefat on Aug. 20, 1965, at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, Grand Forks. Together they raised their family in Grand Forks where he owned his own Maintenance Contract Business. He also operated his own limousine service and did carpentry. They moved to Wisconsin in 1998 to be closer to family. He enjoyed fast boats, waterskiing and sports in general. Jerry was an honest and trustworthy man, fun-loving and he loved being a Grandpa! He was a former member of Bethel Baptist Church, Janesville but had been recently attending St. Mark Lutheran Church, Janesville. Jerry enjoyed attending church and Bible studies.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Eunice; 3 children: Gregory (Laura) Larsen of Dublin, CA, Michael (Kimberley) Larsen of Anchorage, AK, and Susan (Tom) Waller of Janesville, WI; 6 grandchildren: Zachary and Jordyn Larsen, Krista (Matt) Duque, Matthew (Becca) Larsen, Gabriel and Sarah Waller; 6 great grandchildren: Gideon, Elias, Asher, Aurora, Embrie, and Kinsley; 2 brothers, Donald (Patricia) Larsen and Dennis Larsen both of Grand Forks, ND; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Joshua Larsen; and a sister, Katherine Balsen.
A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday May 2, 2020 at University Lutheran Church, 2122 University Ave., Grand Forks. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
